Makvision 26 LCD monitor

Hello,

Does anybody has one of it? If so, does it stretch the image to full screen when a jamma board is plugged to it or it shows blank bars at the sides of the screen?

It will stretch the image or do an overall zoom to fill the screen. All I remember is that I didnt like the effect.

Was it that bad? Any other problem besides the missing scanlines?

Not too bad, but I have read that the Vision Pro 26" is supposed to be better. Others say that the Makvision & Vision Pro are the same monitor. I have never personally compared the two. I have seen the Makvision installed in a cab, and I just did not like it. But if you have it available try it out and see how you like it.

I second the Makvision being not so hot. The stretching looks... Off. Then no scanlines. Never seen the Vision Pro in person.

Do these Makvision screens not have an option to not stretch the image or display in a 4:3 mode?
