I am working on a project to list NAOMI/NAOMI2/Chihiro/Triforce games within their own screens. When a specific game is loaded I have it the Game name and game file name are shown along with a chosen png/jpg image. I've noticed that on some games, the header information is the same regardless of region. Is there a specific address location that would contain the region for each game?
For example:
Initial D Arcade Stage 2 Export and Initial D Arcade Stage 2 are two games but parsing out header information they are both considered "Initial D Ver. 2".
Other than modifying the header or file name manually, is there a way others have identified their games?
