Instead of running usb cables and installing pad hacks / brooks board inside control panels , I was thinking of a design to drastically reduce wiring work needed to wire 2 JVS HD cabs to a ps4.
basically have a pcb with header that accepts 2 brook pcbs, expose 2 60pin RA headers , usb jacks and a couple buttons. This would allow you to wire 2 cabs by simply moving the 60connector from the jvs io on each cab. ( and splitting video/sound of course ) . optionally have cab #2 's header be a db50 header, so you can use a cheap db50 cable. and design another pcb that is just a db50 to jst ra
