Have you done a cap kit yet?

If the answer is NO then you should do that FIRST before attempting to troubleshoot further.

you could also consider checking your earth grounds... I've noticed a lot of cabs have ground wires disconnected or ground prongs removed and really all that stuff should be put properly in place.
 
The good news is that Chad over at Arcadecup can re-cap the chassis for you.
He can also replace flyback, HOT and last I checked he even had NoS neck boards for most WG 25"-27" tubes.

He fixed my WG-K7500 27" the before and after color difference was stunning (too bad I don't have a picture).

If a cap kit on the monitor doesn't fix it then a noisy psu would be the next suspect.
 
Did a capkit and nothing. Change emi filter still nothing. Last but not least isolation transformer that did the trick. Looking beautiful with the cap kit. The wavy lines were caused by the isolation transformer. Thanks people.
 
that is legit the first time I've heard of a iso going bad, those things are usually tanks. Glad to hear you got it sorted :thumbsup:
