Please try the version on the first post v4 and you'll see. If I remember correctly many texts like I.e. INSERT COIN where totally corrupted.
 
Small report on NGBC in that thread.

I played KOFXI for a few rounds, SNK bosses... argh! Seems great to me!

Darksoft...I see in comments, that you use mame to test in pc ... but I can not open these roms in the mame ... only in makaron, do you have any specific version of the mame to run these roms?
 
well, that's because I use some tricks that work on the original but are not supported in MAME yet, but I also told Makaron who implemented them.

if you want it to make it work in MAME, open the bin file in the hex editor, go to offset 0x1308h and change the value 02 25 for 09 00
go to offset 0x13B0h and do the same. That would allow you to play on the emulators.
 
that should be generic. If there is different data than 02 25 at or near offset 0x1308h that means it should already work in emulators.
 
=O battle colliseum! So many people request that when I bring my naomi to events! I never played it myself though.

As for doing the dreamcast conversions... I don't think I have time either. (less time now than when I originally asked). I was just asking for easy access in the future if i ever find the time.

Same glitches are present on the Metal Slug 6 (ex. using the flame bombs on 2nd stage). I'm using a Naomi 2 instead.

But your work to convert these games to Naomi is excellent. Thanks
 
What about Atomiswave Premier Eleven? Is it work? Whats its status? Thank you.

all glitches should be gone by now, but yeah they were pretty obvious on those 2-3 games, no need for explanation, you could see from a mile.
 
A curious question, is there a tool to convert these games from one format to the other? Or is it much more involved requiring hex editing and such?
 
I've seen mention of "Violent Metal Slug 6.rar (with blood cheat activated)," but can't find this actual file. Anyone happen to have it?
