Time for adding some buttons 838-13683-02

Hey, so I ordered the Gundam Vs Zeon game for the Naomi and it is pretty sweet. Except that my system is a 3 button setup for Virtua Striker. So instead of just adding one button I might as well make it a 6 button setup.

I have to find some buttons/wires and a Kick harness.

From what I've found online I need a JST-NH 14 pin kick harness.... and I'm not finding that online.

Is there another option for doing this? Or am I better off just soldering the wires directly to the pins?

You don't HAVE to use an NH header but if you want it to be exact just go to jst-mfg.com and search for H14P-SHF-AA. Keep in mind you also need the pins.

I just use some female jumper cables, it's not pretty but it's removable.

I'll check for the JST NH 14 pin connector and pins at my local electronics store.

I thought this stuff would be readily available

BTW what guage of wire is used? 14 or 16? All i have is 22 from my network gear

22-28 awg for the jst pins for that connector.

Just an update.

I soldered on buttons 4 + 5 on the Jamma strip and added button 6 by soldering on a jumper connector

Not the prettiest but all the I/O tested out
