Hi. It’s late here and I can’t think…
My joystick is currently inverted… the axes are correct, but left is right, push is pull etc…
Which pins do I need to swap? +5v & Gnd for each channel??
Correct. The outer 2 pin.1 and 3 on the pot

Hello Mirko/XeD, we have been playing a lot of monkey ball on the gamecube lately and I'm looking to get a full panel for my naomi cab.

I went through the order form there but a few items are "in queue". Is it possible to back order a "full repro panel" with everything for a "plug and play" with a naomi cab?

E.g. banana, gundam stick, gasket, yellow button, harness, amp etc all assembled ready to connect to a naomi cab running the monkey ball game through a net dimm?

What would be the price with shipping to Europe?

Thank you!

hey all, has anyone been able to source replacement POTs for the the gundam stick? I broke one of the posts off a pot on my gundam stick and I need to replace it :(

Found the Datasheet for Monkey Ball

Anyone know what brand the [M] logo is for on the other one?
also, they have a US site:

Sorry for double post, I'm new here.

2x Booster boards and 2x bananas 2 hole version please and thank you!

Was there a payment notice sent out? I double checked me email and haven't seen anything for updates. Making sure I didn't miss anything.

@Mirko Have to ha the chance to try the UltraStik? I would like to know if it is feasible before paying for the banana.

So I bought the UltraStik 360 bat top edition. I just had to try it myself. :) It works pretty decently with Monkey Ball emulated in Flycast. I 3d printed a mounting adapter and the ring you mount the rubber thing with. Now, only one thing is missing...

The UltraStik 360 is doing pretty good. Still have not been able to compare to the real deal, but at least I finished Advanced level 15. It took some 150 credits, but I finally did it! Still without a banana. Wonder if the banana would help or not. :) I have printed one from thingieverse, yet to be mounted. Unfortunately it got lose a bit from the plate, so the halves aren't perfectly fit, but I guess I can live with that until batch 2 is ready.

One thing I need to sort out with the UltraStik is the fact that the shaft is freely rotating. Looking in to how I can build a restrictor. I have some ideas... Or, worst case, just leave it spinnable to see if it affects the gameplay in a bad way. Otherwise perhaps it doesn't really matter.

Would a Sega IO need to be connected to Jamma for anything if the video is connected directly to a Blast monitor with VGA?

I'm planning to run MB in a Blast City, and it would be nice to have the panel in a detached frame like this. Does a Sega IO need to be connected to the Jamma edge for power or anything, or can I just connect the panel to it and run the USB to the Naomi? (Video will go from Naomi to Blast monitor directly.)

I guess I haven't thought about wiring too much in general, I don't have my kit yet. I got the "JVS harness for Sega/Capcom I/O" for a harness, but that just connects to the Sega IO anyway?

You need to power the I/O @tDRG
+5v will suffice. You can power it separately of course.

Makes sense. An additional cable wouldn't be too bad. Besides a Jamma extension, any suggestions on the easiest way to power it separately? Just get a wall to 5V barrel jack adapter, splice it, and solder directly to the board/a fingerboard adapter?

You can solder the 5v to cn6 next to the analog connector. Pin 1/2 is 5vdc. Pin 5/6 is ground. Pin 3/4 is 12vdc you won't need if you are just using the io for analog Monkeyball

You don’t need a jamma extension - just the USB cable between I/O and Naomi.
