What's new
Someday, I hope to find a 2L12B control panel
Far as I'm aware, the 12B Neo Candy panels are always reproduction/home made (or officials that have been drilled out).
You should take a look here (KLOV account required)...

Finally got around to installing an SD card extender for easy access...you might be able to guess why. ;)

Well, it's no Jasen's Customs caliber case, but I'm still pretty happy with how this turned out-especially considering that I'm not the steadiest Dremel operator out there. Looks good and runs like a champ!
Looks great! Did you end up having to solder the ribbon wires directly to the bottom, or were you able to work with the existing mounting brackets? I want to do this too but I'm concerned about my soldering and doing the correct pinout of the ribbon. If not, then I'll probably just do another plastic 3D printed case and keep it external.

I replaced the stock connector with this right-angled connector:

With the right-angle, I had just enough clearance.

Awesome, thanks, I'll give that a try :)

My CPS2 Multi turned up yesterday from Capozhwm - Who not only supplied the kit but found a donor board and case and installed for me as well - Top Bloke!!

The case was a beaten up Mexican Orange that had seen a lot better days so I decided to grab some vinyl spray and KnightRider the beast!

I know the sticker is upside down but the kit is going to stay in my Cute forever so I may as well enjoy the artwork. Now I just need to come up with a cunning discreet place for the LCD screen (...found it!!).

Cheers

Oh my god, where where do you guys find these Candy cabs? Sheesh. That's the dream!

Can't believe I missed this one! Excellent work! Though I can appreciate a full replacement case that will withstand WWIII, I do have a soft spot for nicely modded originals and yours certainly looks great! Truth be told, after getting my DS kit, I ran it once to make sure everything checked out and then got distracted by some other projects before finishing a proper case. Though incomplete, I did do some experimentation with painting techniques/schemes and think I have a winner. With a tailwind, maybe next year I'll have it done and post some pics :D

Hi all,

@Darksoft awesome jop with the Multi.

Can i use for the Multi the ASIA Version (Black Board) for the Multi because the Pins on the A + B Boards are diffrent to the US, EU or JAP Boards ?

Thx

Hey guys, a couple quick questions.

Are there any 3D print files for a case for the selector?

How did you guys run your ribbon cable out of the enclosure?

If using a supergun, anyone have any experience with the undamned decoders?

Yep, right here.

How did you guys run your ribbon cable out of the enclosure?

I have run my cable out of one of the front ports.

If using a supergun, anyone have any experience with the undamned decoders?

Yes, they work great.

I think most people run it out the circular "register" port. at least that's whats recommend in the official installation instructions.

EDIT: thanks gusmoney :)

if you do go with my enclosure I'm currently working on a holster that mounts to the front that fits my enclosure too :)

there's not a lag issue with the decoders? Thank you so much!!
The decoder itself is pretty fast (<1ms), so beyond that, the latency will be dependent on the controller you use (because a controller has its own processor to turn button presses into USB data). I've done my own testing, but for a 3rd party test, Pasky (long time arcade speed runner) recently posted some results:

Also, for future reference, Darksoft was kind enough to give me my own section, Temple of the Undamned, so feel free to ask questions there, too :D
