Atari Hard Drivin' upright cabine Memory Backup Battery? Where?

Hi, you need to replace the Time Keeper and ZeroRAM chips at locations 200E and 210E on the main PCB. The replacements are M48Z02-150 ZeroPower RAM and a 48T02-150 TimeKeeper RAM I've done this myself a few years ago on my Hard Drivin', but I took this info from...

    Sonic The Fighters Conversion

Thanks, that's great. So I just need two 27c400 for IC 7&8 then. This other thread (that I hadn't fully understood before) seems to confirm it: https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/last-bronx-conversion-to-sonic-the-fighters.13895/page-2 Thanks again both for your help & advice. I'll...

    Sonic The Fighters Conversion

Thanks very much for the info guys - Yes, the jumpers are all fine and the TV (it's a PDP-V402) is fine with 25khz (I've played other Model 2 games with this setup). Here are some photos of an original STF ROM board - which ones do you think I might have used the wrong type for? EDIT: Just...

I'm using a known working Model 2b motherboard and known working Model 2b ROM board, and have got all the jumpers on the ROM board in the right places. I used the MAME 225 merged romset and all the...

    Model 2 /3 Security hacks

Good question - I've only tried it on my supergun so far which doesnt have those buttons wired up. I can try it on my Virtua Striker cab later in the week - but I would have thought that the test and service buttons on the PCB should always work? EDIT - realised my supergun does have those...

    Model 2 /3 Security hacks

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's helped with the Pilot Kids jumper settings - got my ROM board working now! The only issue is that the Test and Service buttons on the PCB don't work - could that be to do with any jumper settings? Those buttons do work when I put a Virtua Striker ROM...

    Model 2 /3 Security hacks

thanks very much - do you mean JP19 & JP20? it's a little bit difficult to see on your picture - I have them set as follows: JP20=3&2, JP19=1&2. Same as Virtua Striker, as i hadn't changed them!
