I think i need to try this way for this certain motherboard, i was afraid of lowering the voltage to much. It might be that i had lower voltage, before i fiddled on the +5V going slightly up tiny steps with no success. As you say i did also build 2 superguns, so one might have had the "better"...

Hi there, bought 2 naomi universals for a good price, well they were basically just "empty shells". CRT's where present but no electronics (chassiss, i/o etc), besides that one monitor had a shorted deflection coil and the 2nd was some kind of vga-ized consumer tv but i didnt' know the brand...
