JAMMA Custom Arcade Project (JCAP) + JCAP Integrated Development Environment (JIDE)

For some reason the YouTube link was malformed. This should work:

JAMMA Custom Arcade Project (JCAP) + JCAP Integrated Development Environment (JIDE)

That's the idea! You take the open-source PCB file, have it made by the manufacturer of your choice and shipped to you (costing less than $20 unless you choose all of the bougie options), order the ~$30 of parts (resistors, capacitors, microcontrollers, etc.) from the distributor of your choice...

    Power Supply System Help

Hey all! I'm currently assembling my custom arcade cabinet, and was hoping someone could help clarify some aspects of the power supply system for me. There are plenty of good resources outlining the general construction, and they all follow pretty much the exact same layout. I currently...

    JAMMA Custom Arcade Project (JCAP)

At the moment this project is geared towards the types of games you would have found in the 80s, so platformers and top-downs and the like. Down the road, the project could easily be extended to include additional processors on the PCB and therefore really jack up the potential power. As for...

Certain to be more powerful, and will support expansion daughter boards as well to extend its power.

That's fairly accurate yes. As far as it being a "console", it's really no different than any other arcade game PCB besides the fact that the hardware isn't necessarily tailored directly to a specific game.

FS Interest in custom printed and much cheaper JVS I/O Boards and game cartridges?

Ok, I'll make the Taito my first focus. What types of prices and features are typical?

Interest in custom printed and much cheaper JVS I/O Boards and game cartridges?

At least a third of the price that you find them online normally.

When you say all-in-one and all system, what do you mean? What's in in and which systems?

Interest in custom printed and much cheaper JVS I/O Boards and game cartridges?

I'm currently working on a custom JVS-comaptible arcade game and cabinet w/ JVS I/O board. I've gotten a good amount of interest for the I/O boards, as I can print them for $100s cheaper then they are online. Plus I can take custom orders, even custom games. Lemme' know!

FS Interest in custom printed and much cheaper JVS I/O Boards and game cartridges?

I'm currently working on a project to create a custom arcade game from scratch and print a PCB to support it, as well as a JVS-compliant I/O board. Looking online, I can tell the boards are expensive for the most part, but I can print them much cheaper! Would people be interested in this? How...

Is there any specific reason that everyone would be interested in an I/O board?

JAMMA Custom Arcade Project (J-CAP) - Part 1

I think because of the simplicity of the boards, I'll stick with Eagle. No need to get fancy with my first PCB design project.
