Midi cable is more like a serial cable, sending command to the DSB. An oscilloscope is needed in order to debug.
You can rebuild a wire using dupont wiring, it's ok for testing.
Hi, some computer have difficulties with the lightweight updater. You can use Arduino Studio and then compile the code => it's open sourced.
The Arduino Studio is better at updating.
About the BIOS battery no worry, it doesn't trigger Bitlocker as it will restore to "good" default settings.
If you search for a "green logo" GTX you can ping me, I've some in stock.
Hi !
I just updated code to improve handling of clone MP3 module (I still recommend using original from reliable source) and a fix for SpikeOut.
All precompiler are available in the GitHub for DSB2, DSB1 and Spikeout.
They are almost the same: 80.04.BF.01.01 and 80.04.BF.01.02. If a card fits for one, it fits for the other.
You can swap bios between the 2 original cards.
The ES3 bioses are very early releases and won't fit some cards. Even with the same amount of memory, the result can be half the screen being random or card not being recognized.
Not sure if a SuperClocked model would like the ES3 "green" bios... you would probably end up with strange behavior.
Give it a try.
If you ever need an original card, send me PM.
