I had to take apart my Astros to get them through a narrow door.
Like everyone has said, worst case you'll have a stripped screw (I did - a bad one). But for the most part it is just time consuming, not really that hard.
This looks so good. I helped @opt2not pick this cab up and it was ROUGH when we first saw it. Now it looks better than new.
Now I gotta fill those holes on one of my Astros and get it painted.
That's great it has the wheel mounting plates. That took me awhile to find for one of my Astros that was treated similar to this Windy.
I'm excited to see this restored.
Super impressive lineup. I'd probably put my Blast's next to each other ;)
I don't know why, but I love the Egret 29. It's probably one of my only goal cabs at this point.
Finally got to spend some time cleaning up the Daytona 2.
This cab came in great shape, but it's a bit dirty, and the monitor needs to be preemptively serviced.
Lots of dust and grime. Seems like some dirty feet were occasionally on the pedals.
Did Alicia wire this up? Thanks Alicia...
Hi everyone. I got a new cab and a big new project. Daytona 2: Battle On The Edge.
This is a bit more of a refresh than a restoration. But I wanted a place to document my journey with this new machine.
I got this cab for a great price and it is in fantastic condition. Very minor stress...
Totally agree. My first Blast took me months to fully restore. If you get any kind of "deal" on these cabs they tend to require a ton of work.
Getting two fully working ones plus a VS kit is a great option.
