I have a very small batch of Spitfire's coming in. If anyone is interested the pricing is below. Just shoot me a PM if you want one.
Knobs will be different from past batches but work the same.
Basic - $30
w/Voltmeter - $36
add -5v Generator (Mounted) - $7
Shipping in the US would be $6...
Did they try to desolder the broken leg of that resistor? I hope they didn't rip out the plate-through as that could cause a short. All they had to do was add a little solder to it and reattach.
For powering PR, you need a power supply that has a decent max continuous output. CBOX needs a better power supply, the Windy Supergun is capable of more but there is no adjustment pot for the 5v rail. I never measured the actual draw on mine but I'd guess it's about 60-70 watts (+5, +12 and...
Do you think it's maybe a board issue then since it stays the same no matter where the simms are or maybe a bad disc? Can I use like a CDR in the drive with a different game and see if it flashes correctly?
Ah, tried cleaning the pins and swapping simms (3,4,5,6) around and still got "Error Code 60". Then I swapped simms 1&2, tried to rewrite again and timer went to zero and still got the "Error 60".
Which simm would be the issue with an error code of "60"? It didn't freeze, counter went all the way down to zero then got the error.
Should I reseat the simms?
I need one of these chips but I don't have the equipment to program my own and I don't have Paypal. I only have CashApp, Venmo or Zelle.
PM me if you can sell me one.
Edit: Either that or if someone can be a Paypal mule for me.
