Failed to remove the suicide battery of Segasonic (->Success In the End)

I used 27c210a-15jl (sorry not 27c201a) and works fine. I'm not sure whether 12jl works or not but maybe also works well

Failed to remove the suicide battery of Segasonic (->Success In the End)

I used TL866ii plus (https://ko.aliexpress.com/item/4000938528997.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dQxqOQU) My old programmer showed OK messages when burning of verifying the roms, but I think it didn't seem to be burnt properly at all.

Failed to remove the suicide battery of Segasonic (->Success In the End)

Yeah, I got happy ending :D I bought new eprom programmer and erase & burnt roms once more. The game works when I replaced just two roms, IC8(15786c) and IC17(15787c). (You can use 27C1024 or 27C210A, any of them) I think you'd be better make sure that the programmer works properly or the roms...

Failed to remove the suicide battery of Segasonic (->Success In the End)

I tried again with 10F1, 12F1 and failed :( and the game doesn't work also when the battery is attached and two roms are replaced. Maybe I have to replace 27c020 roms(EPR-15780, 15781, 15785) or use 27c210a rom instead of 27c1024

I don't know what the behind number means, but I also think they might affect the result.

Failed to remove the suicide battery of Segasonic (->Success In the End)

I didn't know that =O I just swapped IC8 and IC17 and it didn't work again. There were no specific error message burning roms but maybe there were some problems while burning as you said. I have some other rom models (10F1, 12F1) so I'll try them

Trackball Installation for SegaSonic with Original I/O Board

//DrBackhands Thanks to very detailed reply! I have PCB with I/O board and Official Sega Astrocity trackball panel(I've heard that it is for segasonic only) But the trackball panel has only 8 wires per person and someone says I need to attach molex 26p connector to I/O board and just connect...

Trackball Installation for SegaSonic with Original I/O Board

I also think so, but trackball panel has only 8 wires per person (I think they're two 5V, two GND, XA, XB, YA, YB) so it doesn't seem to need 11p or 10p and I'm still a little confused..
