Some good news, after leaving it a week or ago and doing lots of RAM tests - finally IC16 is consistently showing as BAD. N1 games have minor corruption in their graphics now. I'll be looking to swap IC16 and IC18 - thankfully these are 16-bit ICs so a little more of my ability level!

Hello all, I got this from arcadeartshop and I think it's wired wrong. Only one button works on P2. From what I can see, the GND is wrong for P1 and P2 (in this photo 2nd on the left). The 2 diagrams I have managed to find support this. Anyone else got experience of this?

I couldn't seem to find the post. I have for the moment got hold of an ASUS 27" gaming monitor with VGA - will advise on the results. First impressions are it looks very good!

Sadly I only have another Sega JAMMA IO - that's working fine. I have used a DMM to confirm the wiring looms have continuity. I did some playing and found hitting the service button does eventually respond when I tried with my N2 (its incredibly laggy). It seems the N2 also behaves differently...

Thanks, I'm in the UK - I'll check over there now. What I'm seeing seems to be the Sanwa screen isn't worth seeking out, fairly poor quality and not so reliable - but if anyone can confirm that, that would be good!

I imagine this one has been done to death - but does anyone have a good recommendation for a suitable replacement for a Naomi cabinet? I am aware such a large display in 4:3 or 5:4 is next to impossible.

Arrived today - needs a motherboard and screen - but otherwise feeling very pleased! I had little or no details, but it turns out its still got the step down, psu, audio amplifier, coin mechanism and IO board! Does anyone have a recommendation for a good LCD to consider? Obviously will need...

Thanks @MickyMac - the new power supply at least gives me the confidence my voltages are good. Error seems to happen much more consistently on those ICs now. I'll try a re-flow first, fingers crossed!
