Can the multi be run safely, without the Qsound and Reset jumpers, for testing in this case? Or, do I need to have those jumpers installed, for it to operate at all?

Yes, and metered them at the installed pcb to ensure they were working, before hooking up to the remote board.

Yeah, there's so much to consider on these. The screenprinting was done layer by layer for these, either directly on the panel, or done in layers on a water-transferable sticker, and then applied to the panel....honestly couldn't say.....either is possible....someone else would have to chime...

I worked the industry for many years hear in the states, and we called them tongues, and I have heard tangs used occasionally, but never "tabs". I'm sure that's regional, but its interesting how the verbiage shifts based on locale.
