Hey, I have 2 A-Boards that work fine but have an issue where the service menu volume is stuck at 39.
Volume adjustment works fine whilst the game is running, same thing happens with multiple games, any ideas?
I finally got one in the mail after buying via a proxy, the part works but is slightly different.
The diameter of the white part is slightly larger and the shaft isn't notched for the grub screw for the volume knob.
I filed the shaft in the second picture and it volume knob attaches firmly...
I just bought a replacement one recently using a proxy, I'll let you know how I go when i get it.

Just so you know theres 2 different CMC variants and they aren't compatible with each other.
I've never swapped one before but I've been succesful swapping the roms instead, reflowing the pins didn't fix my issue.

Hey, I can't seem to find anywhere that sells these, I've contacted the Chiba online store but they never responded and don't seem to sell them anymore.
Any help would be appreciated.
It's to replace broken Namco Exceleena volume variable resistor.
Hey not sure if this helps but I have a ms2931 that had the same issue with a blue screen and then shutting off.
I swapped the neck board and it works fine.
I'm still trying to get to the bottom of the issue, not sure how similiar the neck boards are.
