Sanwa OOM-8 Cocktail Replacement Panel Files

Hey Guys! Big thanks to @snakeGrave for archiving a 1:1 scan of the original 2P 6 button panel. This allowed me to measure and make 2 replacement DXF panel files. I am not calling them reproductions as these are not 100% perfect. Sticks and buttons clear without interruption. These mount to...

Raspberry Pi TO JAMMA Arcade Cabinet Interface

If you want to PM me, we can run through some things to try so we don't spam Crown's thread. I truly believe the root of the sync issues are software related. It worked flawlessly in one of my other cabs no tweaking needed.

The Definitive Guide to CPS2 Conversions

@man1aco Can you confirm if this is correct in identifying the type for JEDEC or NON JEDEC? https://www.jammarcade.net/1mbit-eprom-confusion-jedec-vs-non-jedec/ That is what I'm going by. The jumpers for the Sony CXK27C1001DQ-15 used in my COA are crossed as Jedec. The changes to your XLS...

The Definitive Guide to CPS2 Conversions

UPDATE: Upon further look, Eproms 1 and 2 are JEDEC, I don't believe I need to change the jumpers. I can also confirm they are getting 4.96v. Enough to power the sound chips on another b board just fine. Still need confirmation on the 42 pin mask rom type to check it. Pretty much back to...

The Definitive Guide to CPS2 Conversions

@man1aco Ok, had a moment to check these items. Jumpers 10 to 13 SOSO - Confirmed Eproms 1 and 2 are Mitsubishi M5M27C100K- 15. Per the pinout I found they look to be NON jedec. Sockets 11 and 12 are 42 pin. The COTA roms were MX23C1610. Pin 22 is the VCC. Did you want me check that pin...

Raspberry Pi TO JAMMA Arcade Cabinet Interface

This product works great and would recommend. Thank you @Crown Arcade Shop. Any and all problems on my end are software related. Needed a sync cleaner for it to lock on my intended monitor. Anyone on pi3b/OS2 figure out how to get the extra skins to show up? The wiki has instructions but seem...

The Definitive Guide to CPS2 Conversions

Awesome. I will check all these items next and report back. The roms on the daughter board are soldered directly, so that maybe last resort territory. Also read something about the reason daughter boards were used was in relation to the rom type and size they had on hand. Or else the would...
