Hi Darksoft Thanks for replying. Power supply shuts down so no chance of anything getting hot. 12V is fine. Nothing wrong that side. Only the 5V side. Cheers

Hi Folks I have a dead IC1 on a TAITO Super Space Invaders 91. This is a TAITO mask rom and has 271000 next to the socket. If I replace with an Eprom, not sure what type it would be. Does anyone have experience of what would be the correct replacement? cheers

Guys. Hand it to ebay to sort out. They are really good at sorting this kind of stuff out. Remember if you are not ranting, you dont come across as a nutter!! Also hopefully someone else doesn't get stuffed.

Just so you dont feel alone; I have a Naomi 2 that starts up with voltages but doesnt kick in to life. I have changed. Supercap, EPROM. Cleaned PCB, and cleaned fans. Nope! So looking for an answer too.
