The files were removed from the update folder on the SD card and the about section matches the image on page one.

Your solution is what Darksoft linked. I followed those steps already and the problem is worse now.

Still getting freezes after updating with that method. Still getting the rom warning trying to boot kof98 also.

Honestly the freezes were happening on the last firmware also per players at Michigan Masters during the Breakers Revenge tourney. We swapped out to a banana during tourney and I’m still getting them on this update. I’ll try the method you mentioned

I’m getting freezes during games. I deleted buff. Everything in the about menu matches the current firmware and menus. KOF98 won’t even load at all. I’m using the latest smoke monster pack so it should be patched. I have the mv1B board

Hey! I just want to double check the video output I chose for my preorder. I want to make sure I selected the PlayStation video out since I can do composite, component and RGB with it. I also wanted to make sure I selected VGA. Those should cover any output options I need. Thanks!
