Another hardware question, can I simply upgrade the Pentium 4 CPU to a compatible Core 2 Duo processor? They are incredibly cheap.

Which hardware revision of the Type X2 would be best for this? I'm assuming the Core 2 Duo will work the best, but will the P4 version work fine? The P4 version with 512mb RAM and GF7900GS is quite common.

I didn't think you could update 2.13 via netbooting, only GD-Rom. I though you had to update to 3.17 via GD-Rom then netboot to 4.02. So all you did was use Transfergame.exe and use a null pic, that's it?
