Now that there's the IDE simulator I was wondering if it would be possible to have the entire system installed into Mini/Mid computer tower for ease of mobility? If it is possible what items would I need to make it fully functional? The image attached is kind of the idea I'm trying to achieve...

I've got the adapter already, but the PNY 3.0 USB I've got only booted the ZAFT Gundam game. Also the SanDisk 2.0 USB didnt boot anything.

@mathewbeall - I haven't actually got a usb to work with sc2 & sc3 yet but I got a response from Colin suggesting the USB 3.0 was consuming to much current. He suggested also trying and SD card. I went out got one and SD card and my system fired up both games right away. Anyone have a working...

Ok quick update I got Gundam ZAFT working, but sc3 and sc2 won't boot. I'm directly creating the ISOs off the disc and moving them onto the USB. The dongle ID I have for sc3 is (SC31002-NA-A).

Do I need a specific allocation unit size whenever I format the USB drive?

Which board the namco board or the ps2 board? I've got no idea with the two 246c the boot sequence doesnt start with either one. I just assumed both are dead and beyond my capabilities to repair. Thanks for the info

The disc and dongle work just fine in the other systems I had....the system gets to 5 to 6 beeps and then I dont hear any audio just silence for about 30 secs and then the 'wah wah wah' starts. Could it possibly be the DVD drive?

Bump :D Alright so I got kinda fed up with this system and gave up messing with it. I've had two 246c crap out with no life and this system 246b has a little life. When I fire up the system I get past the initial 3 beeps to about 5 or 6 then about 30 secs will pass and the 'wah wah wah'...

Trying to find the particular name of this cable.

Alright I was able to get my gundam game to boot and load. Pretty sure my sc3 dongle is corrupted ;( <X . Any way to fix the issue? Or should I just get in line for the multi dongle?

Alright so I ordered a new board for my namco system 246c installed it everything booted fine, but when playing sc3 the character images never load on the character selection screen and the game won't progress to the stages. Also I noticed while using two different DVD drives on the boot...

So if I directly plug the GH-006 directly from the AV connection to the RCA connector on a TV(it should show a blue screen correct?) will that isolate the issue being on the Namco board?
