I say longer cable and make the casing dual use, as a dongle or mountable to the AW. That way the end user can choose how to use it. Hope that helps.

It’s happening.

This puts line-level audio at the RCA jacks on the multi as well as auto-switch the audio between CPS1 and CPS1.5 games based on the game loaded. Basically will work with any cab that has its own amp for audio.

I will tweak the layout a bit and order some pcbs enough to cover you guys. Oh, Im not looking to make $$ on this, I will split the total cost per PCB so all you guys are paying is parts and shipping costs.

I ordered a simple pcb for now to use for power and to route speaker level sound back to the jamma edge. Does the sound pot control volume level of the line level outputs on the MB? How do you mix stereo speaker level outputs to mono. Or does it even matter?

Has anyone tested this on the repro sound board? By looking at the datasheet for the TDA7240A amps, Im just not sure the speaker outputs can be bridged that way, but I could be wrong.

I just got myself a 467, going to do a full teardown and refurbish it if I can. If I notice anything that might help you I will let you know.

Not really, since I often do custom setups tailored to my needs/what Im hooking up at the time. As I change things around I might end up redoing or adding connections.

I have mine mostly assembled. I needed a few little bits here and there so Im waiting for those to arrive. I also ordered some jamma adapter pcbs I made for power and sound hookup, so waiting on those too.

For sure. I think these are repro PCBs. They intended this way, hence the gold enig and soldering differences. Either they got gerbers; did sand and scan method; xray etc. As for components, I agree that they found stock of what they needed or are relabeling some ICs to match what's expected...
