    Heres a fix i found. Ringedge 1 would fire up, no video, shutdown, startup again, continue to run with no video. Changed all removable parts one by one for known good working parts and turned out the cpu was bad. One more rinegdge saved.

    I would maybe try replacing the power supply first. Can even use a atx or consumer supply, just match the wattage at least. They are server grade so are reliable but nothing lasts forever. The mobo turns the power supply on just like any other consumer PC.

    Com1 is ffb, com2 is card reader on ringedge. No difference than regular computer. You will need a usb to serial.adapter and set usb port as com2

    My RE1 runs at 35 celcius. Shutdown is usually 50 celcuis or more. Wont be able to access bios easily.

    Check cpu temp in test mode after it runs for <2 hr Also there are error codes stored that can be accessed in test mode.
