Came across this when searching for a House of the Dead 2 Arcade PCB. I have a Jurassic Park Lost World cabinet and would like to be able to play HotD2 as well. Is this still available? Also, how does this differ from the House of the Dead 2 on Naomi?

I was thinking you should measure the AC voltage difference between your power strip ground and AC step down transformer ground. Then between your step down and cabinet chassis. They should all be 0V AC. You're measuring between ground and hot which looks ok.

Whew, you had me worried. Be careful since you're working with AC voltage. I'd check the ground between your wall outlet and your AC stepdown converter first. Then from AC stepdown to your cabinet's ground. Then from cabinet ground to JAMMA harness ground. Should be 0VAC.

Hmm, that's really strange! I live in a dry climate. The MiSTercade has ESD protection on all pins except for the ground. The remote and case are grounded through the cable which is grounded through the MiSTercade to the cabinet. It definitely will reset the MiSTercade if you plug in the remote...

The analog IO accurace issue was introduced with IO V6.0. MiSTercade uses a different DAC setup and has accurate 700mV analog RGB output :) MiSTercade V2 is all but done. It has a 24-bit RGB DAC. You can either output to HDMI OR JAMMA + HD15, but not both. Relatedly, I spent the day testing...

There was a recent change to the video levels for component video. If you're asking about regular MiSTer, then you're better off using a DAC or getting a new IO board (one of mine coming soon).

MiSTercade V2 is nearly done and supports direct video, but you can certainly do this. Just make sure your RGBS lines aren't connected to JAMMA. You can alternatively use the VGA port on MiSTercade but maybe you have a reason not to do that.
