Yes, this. And don't forget something banal as the power switch. The seller is very knowledgeable and informed me it was a MS8. The control board for the chassis is under the control panel, not the monitor chassis. There's a lot of vultures hovering this one.

The more time I spend around the NAC the more I love my Blast. Having all the controls under the joystick panel + the additional "floor" space inside the Blast just makes it more convenient to operate as a home owner.

I checked the connections and the pots change the picture when I twist them. While trying to get the distortions as stable as I could, a sound emitted from the monitor and a different distorted image filled the entire screen. Twisting the v/h holds further finally stabilized the picture. I let...

I just got a NAC. The monitor (MS8 ) worked at the seller yesterday and when it got picked it up today, every PCB I have end up with an image like this. The seller had an IGS PGM to test with and so do I. My PGM works fine in my Blast. I'm not familiar with CRTs at all.

Ok, the seller clarified it's an issue with the NAC "Y" PSU and the CV1K boards, not the 1st gen boards which are more within my budget. :-)

I have a lead on a NAC with a MS8 where the seller claim bad juice from the PSU especially with CAVE PCBs (I'm going to use it with CAVE PCBs). Is this a general issue with NACs or can I simply replace the caps of the PSU PCB and be on my merry way?
