Atomiswave heat issue

For some reason when powering up game you can see the logo of the game then a white screen then the smell of burning plastic (atomiswave burning up) when I say burning I mean the mounting bracket gets to hot to touch in seconds.

Immediately turn it off, check my values on the PSU and all seems fine? I've had this machine working great for a month in another cabinet...could this PSU be the problem or is there a problem with my machine?

You should try with another PSU and see if it happens. If that's the case, then I would open the Atomiswave and start it for a few seconds and start touching chips to see if any of them gets super hot, then you know which are to look for.
