My CPS3 doesn't seem to be working after 8 months of storage.

I bought from @djsheep and he packed it very well and it worked great since last boxed and shelved it about 8 months ago.

Everything is clean and contacts seated.

The cd Drive spins and if I'm lucky I get a solid color screen with slanty lines running down it.

If not I get no screen at all. Voltage is at 5.08

Does anyone know what could I look for or steps to troubleshoot this? I had a hankering to play some Warzard but cant get past this.

Hey mate. Sorry to hear.

I would try (again) cleaning / reseating the SIMM modules a few times, but also cleaning the cart edge and slot. Reinserting the cart a few times. Also trying another cab / Supergun.

Can attest that CPS-3 systems get finicky and most issues like this are generally related to having to frustratingly reseat things a few times to get it alive again.
