Cruisin’ World to other racing games

How adaptable are racing wheels? Are they proprietary or standardized? I’m asking because I’m curious if there is any practical way to use something like a chihiro multi in a Cruising world.
My understanding is that they used medium res monitors so that shouldn’t be an issue. Could I get away with a JVS to Jamma?

You can convert it to Cruis'n USA and Off Road Racing. Maybe some other Midway racing game with a different FF board.

Anything else isn't worth it IMO. You would have to replace everything. Might as well start with an empty cab at that point.

Hmm.. thanks for the info. Sounds like I need a couple Outrun2s.
