I open this topic dedicated to my two boards intended to convert the racing arcade cabinet.

The first board is the "Sega FFB controller Pro", it allows you to quickly (and without soldering) convert JVS arcade cabinet (Naomi, Lindberg and Ringedge cabinet, Namco cabinet like Mario kart, OR2, etc...)

Features :
1 Sega digital connector 60 pins
1 Sega analog connector 26 pins
1 Namco digital/analog connector 60 pins (I can solder it on request)
1 RS232 port (for Sega RS232 or RS422 driver boards with a converter)
1 Midi port (for Sega Midi driver boards)
1 digital PWM port (for my pwm2m2, pwm2happ, pwm2m3 board)
1 micro USB connector to connect to a computer
1 ATX connector for power supply (optional)
1 dedicated chips for lamps control

The second board is the "Sega FFB controller hack". Essentially, it's the same board but the JVS connectors have been replaced by solder pads. The goal being to be able to create your own cabinet, or completely rewire any HS games (I'm thinking of Atari cabinet or others which are not standardized)

My board are of course compatible with my other projects. We can therefore connect to the FFB controller Pro or hack:

A pwm2m2 to control a Sega model 1/2 steering wheel

A pwm2happ to control a happ motor (old version, i'll must update photo)

A pwm2m3 which will replace the sega model 3 driver board and will manage the FFB (in this case, the servo board must be operational in the cabinet)

My board work with the software developed by Njz3 and which allows all the necessary information to be passed through a virtual com port on the computer (steering wheel, pedals, gearbox, FFB torque order, lamp status). I'll give you the link which is full of useful information.

Finally, you should know that it takes a lot of time to prepare an SSD with all the games, hyperspin and software necessary to have an FFB close to the real system. This is why I would like to tell you that "Seb Arcade" offers a 480 GB SSD hard drive with more than a hundred games, the hyperspin menu and all the necessary FFB and lamp settings.

I will improve this topic based on the questions you will ask me.
