I've finally bought Darksofts CPS3 cart and attempted to resurrect my Japanese all-in-1 HSF2A PCB. It was so simple, even I managed to get it to work first attempt!
However I could only find decrypted roms for USA and Asia versions and mine is Japanese - the Asia roms seem to work OK and at least I can now play a game I've owned for three years (as a bookend).
When I originally posted on here that I wanted to fix a Japanese HSF2A someone said they had "clean decryped" roms they would supply to me, and I really want to have it playing the correct region.
