Guys. This guy clearly needs it spelled out to a certain degree. 1) You want a Superbios cart NO MATTER WHAT. The gameplay is 100% the same as original stock carts, and you won't ever have to worry about a suicide battery again. PM @Darksoft or @Mitsurugi-w to have this done to your cart. 2) You are going to have to read/study the CPS3 a little bit. wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/CPS3#SIMM_requirements ^^Read this thoroughly. 3) Open your CPS3 case and LOOK at what SIMMS you have currently. You are most…

I’m convinced the battery gets trickle charged from regular play. If played regularly there is poss…

Yes. Power it with the Supergun is fine

  • “standard” refers to the old method of replacing the SH-2 chip inside the cartridge with a normal, “standard” chip. “Custom” refers to using Capcom’s stock custom SH-2 chip and not replacing it. Whoever sold you the superbios cartridge may be mistaking, try the custom version and report back. edit: also, your picture shows firmware version 4.8.

Are there alternatives with a case protecting from electric shocks? ie. only lines outsides are 5V or 12V etc. Thank you! ” RGB includes 3D printed terminal covers that fit the meanwell MWP606 and another power supply that I can’t remember. rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpr…Fulk%2Fitm%2F360127247409

I just finally re-capped my model 1 sega CD a few days ago. It took 8 hours total. What I’ve seen in the solder porn videos was not what was transpiring before me, lol. I kept at it though. Used hot air and aluminum foil to isolate and pull the old SMD caps, and a combination of hot air, cheap solder sucker and soldering iron to remove the 2-3 through hole caps. (This was not fun but I don’t have a desoldering tool yet) I chose not to use SMD caps to replace and instead used through hole caps an…

  • A lot of 3rd strike players slap the ever loving shit out of the buttons, especially when doing a super or an EX move, not to be obnoxious but because you want more of a chance to execute the move you’re trying to do. I’d imagine if you were playing this machine you’d do the same thing

  • As interesting as it is, that honestly looks like injury waiting to happen. I would think about how much you really would end up playing that thing. Joel from the Last Gamer show actually broke his wrist as a kid playing this machine and I can see why. Is there any reason to hit it hard or can you give it moderate thumps with the same result? It’s so dry right now that my hands are splitting and cracking from minor household bullshit. I envision blisters and shit from one play session with that …

I actually have no idea what that battery does. I think it’s only on the rev1 boards. I’ve seen pictures of it exploding and causing damage to the board, so if someone on here can recommends removing it, that’s probably a good idea. mobile.twitter.com/majorsfool/status/967143896827551744
