  • Quote from Smurph: “Quote from neofan: “On a side note, Super XYX is looking pretty good ” hell yeah it's looking good. I'll be putting in a preorder whenever they go up. ” It was released today on Steam.

  • Creating a shortage to promote "investing" in video games seems like a good way to promote scalping and ridiculous, aftermarket inflation. I think it's best to make purchases based on perceived, potential enjoyment and if you make a few bucks off of it some day then fucking great. Maybe they should focus on making games that are more interesting instead of relying on a gimmick to sell their games. Investing in video games, har dee fucking har. On a side note, Super XYX is looking pretty good. It…

  • Thanks for the advice. I'll purchase one and try it out. I'd been meaning to buy one for some other projects.

  • Thanks so much for the info. I'll try and reflow the pins. If that doesn't work I'll have to see if I can find a donor F10 pcb.

  • My King of Fighters 2002 has some graphical glitches. I've cleaned the contacts with Deoxit and isopropyl alcohol. The MVS slot is clean as well and plays other games just fine. I'm using an MV-1C with Unibios 4.0. The pcbs are in good shape and I couldn't find any broken traces or missing capacitors. I found one solder point on the CHA board that looked suspect. I reflowed it but it didn't change anything. There are short, horizontal lines of garbage all over the screen. The fix layer graphics …

  • This is an installation of a PS10 switch board that I did a while back. I had to move some of the wires afterward because I didn't take into account where the shell came in contact with the motherboard. I need to learn to slow down sometimes. • Here's a triple bypass and full recap I did on a model 2 Genesis. I also replaced the reset button. I started learning to solder last year and have only done a handful of projects so my work probably doesn't look all that clean.arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…a072dfdcc6c7b76042dbf4470arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…a072dfdcc6c7b76042dbf4470arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…a072dfdcc6c7b76042dbf4470arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…a072dfdcc6c7b76042dbf4470arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…a072dfdcc6c7b7604…

I've been into video games for over thirty years. I loved the arcades when I was a kid. I remember the first one I went to at Bonanza Park next to the drive-in theater. It also had go-carts and a big slide. I loved the lights and the sounds and artwork on the cabs. All of them vying for your attention and your limited supply of quarters. My first console was an Atari VCS, with the mock-wood panel, that my brother and I bought from our neighbor with about a year's worth of combined allowances. I'…

  • Welcome. Good luck with your collecting. I started collecting MVS carts earlier this year. What are some of your wishlist titles? Are you going to be using your OMEGA on a CRT or are you using a Framemeister or OSSC on a modern tv?

@phodie - I picked up a copy of Waku Waku 7 along with a few other titles recently. It's definitely one of the most beautiful games on the system and it's a pretty decent fighter too.

Hello there, I'm new here as well. I just purchased a CBOX (consolized mv1c board) and have started an MVS cart collection. What fighters do you play the most on the Neo?
