Last one. Picked up a Sapphire 9600 PRO 256 card for cheap. This uses BGA memory unlike most cards in this range, so perhaps some better specs there too. arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e Boots up and runs fine. More testing required

  • Quote from GC8TECH: “i have PCB NO-0133-1 AND PCB NO-0133-3. ” Pics? Guess they both look like the NO-133-5 board..

  • I have a second that is IGS PCB NO-0133-5 that looks identical to your first... Are you sure yours is 0135 and not 0133?

  • Quote from twistedsymphony: “interesting. it's got a lower number, but like you said, it clearly fits after my first board. ” If you check the back its designated 41-069-B4-09.

  • Quote from twistedsymphony: “Does anyone have any version of the Mobo other than the 3 I've listed in the top post? ” Yes, actually... arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e Check between the battery and crystal... On Graphics cards I have tested a 9600XT 256, a 9600XT 128 and a 9600 (!PRO) 128. The XT 256 booted, but threw software errors. The XT 128 I chose as it looked identical to the TTX+ card. That gave software errors, then graphical glitches and then died... The 9600 128 was advertised as a PRO, had no external markings as such so I am assuming it to be a vanilla 9600. The vanilla 9600 128 boots to the multi and games are playable with the exception of Tetris TGM (For that the game is clearly runni…

So it was my SATA to 44pin IDE adapter that was the cause. A 40 to 44pin IDE adapter has solved the issue. Noticeable decrease in boot time is nice.

  • ...which are the amp connectors and what was the issue on yours? Are they the surface mount PC2-24 in the above pic?

  • Hi. I have an issue with a Sega Jamma JVS I/O. This one: arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e I am using it in conjunction with a TTX. Problem is that P1 Button 2&3 are shorting. Each individual press on each gives simultaneous input on both. I have checked continuity at the jamma edge (none), and followed each input trace through to the microcontroller (also good). I have tested with two different joysticks and with JP1 in both A&B positions. No change. Is it screwed? Is the…

  • So has @lydz created custom GFX board now too? I can see that my Ketsui Prog board is missing the jumper wire @twistedsymphony had on his Espgaluda board. So looks like the board design is being improved upon. Mine is v0801 it seems... arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e

  • This thread is getting rather unwieldy, and I'm here to be part of the problem. Picked up two cards from @lydz on Taobao (side note, cannot recommend TaobaoFocus enough). On the Custom PCB I see the usual missing bypass caps etc. arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e I have a bunch of 100nf 0805 caps that I use on the NeoGeo 120 in 1 multi carts. Should I throw som…

  • Has anyone checked the necessary clearance for using a 3.5" HDD with the TTX2? One simple option could be to use 4 hex standoffs with the HDD plate on top: arcade-projects.com/forums/ind…e0a389999429cce09c98aaa7e

  • Quote from hursit: “You are the person who starting the project actually You can buy from my website and I will send the Flat TTX Cover as a gift Please just buy only for adapter but you will get the full parts ” Honoured! Just happy to have found the right man for the job Could you add an option to your website that includes the cover plate too? My guess is that most people will need both parts... Perhaps offering just the metal plate as-is could also be of interest? Looking at @invzim here wit…

  • Woohoo!! So how can I order one of these? (Flat TTX cover and mount) - I just see the adapter on your website... Whats-App-Image-2019-01-15-at-5-20-18-PM-2.jpg
