Quote from hoagtech: “I hooked up the Kun and got the these voltage reading +5.08 -5.02 12.02 Should I drive up the voltage a bit or are those good readings? ” These values are perfectly within acceptable range.

Quote from hoagtech: “Thanks for the feedback @Kavas. I’m looking forward to your and @8bitforlife ‘s Aero city arrivals. I bought the bootleg Tetris for $30 and Dottori Kun sells for $70 as it’s a Sega collectible. ” It isn't, though. djsheep beat me to it.

JAMMA harnesses aren’t always color coded with the wires, particularly if someone made/hacked one. That said, I don’t know if these are from the factory, so I’m generalizing.

Does TGM3 require a JVS input for the TTX2? It’s booting to a flickering black screen after the splash screen. The IO blinks, but I’m not seeing any progress after the black screen. On first attempt, it showed two flickering windows, TGM3 and a Taito one, but subsequent boot ups show nothing.

Quote from rtw: “Nice progress, do you have a picture of the jumper you changed ? edit: what region is that Chase Hq 2 ? ” imgur.com/gallery/lVXqbHQ Region is US, posted in the link, too The jumpers were the set of three next to the battery, with it originally set on the furthest two. I moved the jumper to the opposite end, covering the last two, and powering on. Then I removed the jumper altogether for the next power up.

As I was reading more about the Phoenix BIOS, there were posts about moving the jumpers or pulling the battery to reset the password. The former seemed fine, but removing the battery did not as there isn’t a dongle with this game. I was apprehensive to do that option. Still, I thank Niko for his advice to pull the jumper. I feel really delicate with this to make sure it’s not made into a paperweight.

I removed the jumpers- same results. Replaced the jumper to the opposite site, and got no boot. Took out the jumper, and things started happening. Here’s my update: imgur.com/gallery/HnSAQ0S With just the keyboard alone, it threw an error, so I retried it with the mouse included, and it booted up normally. I’m very excited at this point! So before I test this any further, should I put the jumper back in, or leave it out? Seems just fine without.
