Unmonut CRT chassis, what's caution about high voltage?

I unmount my CRT & chassis from my NNC for deep clean and capkit. Unplugged since 2 week any risk with high voltage? Must I decharge? Can I remove chassis and neck board without any risk?

yes, most modern monitors have built in discharge for safety... still best to go through the process of manual discharge incase auto discharge isn't functioning properly.

Tons of videos on youtube on this, ALWAYS discharge even if they "automatically" discharge themselves.
