Nice conversion! The game can work without camera. AFAIK you'll need an original one to make it work. The Force Feedback, it's midi based and you can see the PCBs ofter available on eBay, but the problem is the engine on that LeMans 24 it's a high voltage engine, so you need to change the wheel dash if you want feedback.

Good luck.

Nice!

Do you have it working with Force Feedback?

No force feedback

I let the drive board of Le Mans inside, which supplies the big engine with power

the steering wheel is a strongist

I am just wondering… I own a Triforce and running a Mario kart ex, the question is, what wheel (like Logitech G29) would work if I map everting on the with jvs or would not work… the other option will be a jvs to usb and plug a optional wheel… I can’t afford a cabinet for this project, any advice?

People use dreamcast wheels and they praise them, but if you're able to find a wheel with a 10k pot and do the wiring, you should be fine. Then you just connect each pot to a different analog input in the jvs external PCB.

Thank you for the respond, but just to be clear, between the Triforce type3 and I/o board, I would need a wheel with 10k pots like Logitech g29 is but before finding a wheel I am just trying the sega I/o along and there is an “i/o error call attendant” message and it doesn’t proceed… wouldn’t be not also need it a Namco pcb steering board? Or aboard inside the wheel will be compatible (sega dream cast for example) Because this is the 3rd jvs board and it doesn’t proceed… but with the jvs/usb does proceed but I can control nor accelerate the karts and that have being done in multiple images via Piforce.

No, normally Mario Kart or other Sega games will check for the right type and manufacturer or I/O. The wheel connects to the corresponding pins of the I/O board and the I/O board connects to the Triforce using a USB cable (conection is JVS not USB, although the cable mechanically is identical). Don't try to plug anything USB into JVS or the other way around. You may fry something.
