I managed to give my X2 a static shock which has knackered it. When powered up it constantly reboots every couple of seconds. The fans/hdd spin up and the LEDs come on but that's about it.
The PSU, CPU and RAM all check out OK so I'm assuming the board has died. Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement motherboard? The machine is a Model 205A P4 3.4GHz.
I would ideally like a drop in replacement that will be compatible with the current hardware and run the multi. Failing that a drop in replacement that could boot windows would suffice.
