I never knew Discs of Tron was originally going to be part of the first Tron game.
I loved this movie as a kid too, I guess it got re-released/remastered on bluray when the new film came out a few years go.
Really need to pick that up, its been a long time since I've seen it.

Discs of Tron is a wicked cool game. The image from the CRT is reflected on the backboard of the cab, similar to how the Darius games were. The backboard is Illuminated from a fluorescent light behind it. It's one of those games that you have to experience in person. Mame doesn't do it justice.
