Hi,

I have a Sigma AV7000 supergun with a faulty 9000tb joystick, so I’ve decided to use a couple of old Madcatz T.E. sticks with it instead.

I have located the pin out for the 13pin din connector of the AV7000, and while it has pins for every direction and 6 buttons, it has no ground?

It has a +5v pin (which I don’t know what to do with) but I don’t know what to connect the grounds to...

Should it be as simple as connecting the stick and buttons to the corresponding pins and away we go, or is it more complicated than that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I currently can’t use it at all...!

Thanks :)

Ah I see.....! That makes sense..thanks 8)

Is the +5v used for anything at all then?

+5V is used to power the 9000TB's rapid-fire circuit.

Ah ok. Thanks for your help with this, and the quick replies. I’ll give it a go today and see if I can get it working now

They look fine, and they have auto fire, but they’re Seimitsi stick and buttons and I’m more a Sanwa man myself ;)

Oh and it doesn’t go left....! ;)

I’ll get around to sorting it at some point, but as I prefer Sanwas this was my first job before fixing it :D
