Hey.
The cab I’m working on uses this sliding hinge to attach the control panel.

Anyone know what this fitting is called?
Essentially, if I can find a strip of the male fitting I could make alternate control panels to swap out..

Cheers!

that looks like a bespoke fitting, the bottom half looks to be profiled into a single piece.

You’re right there @mdk.
It stands out as the single most elaborate piece on the entire cab... all the other metal work could be formed with a break and spot welded.
Makes me think that this hinge section is actually off the shelf rather than in house?

Bump...
Any ideas what this part would be called? I can only think of 'flashing' but that's just metal edging used in roofing etc...?

You would probably have more luck with this at the KLOV or BYOAC forums.

Not that the guys here aren't awesome with knowledge, but those guys deal with the cabs a lot more.

Actually I’ve just spoken with our resident metalwork specialist @hursit - I'm looking for Aluminium Profiling.. This is either a standard profile or probably a custom piece, but at least I know what I'm looking for now!

I have checked the cabinet and it looks , they didnt make any special mold for that Aluminium Profile. If that company was SEGA , TAITO or other generic brands, i have been said to you it is a Special Part and do not try to find it :D . But it looks that company is a local one, and they just find this profile and used in their cabinet.

Of course these are my opinion, maybe im wrong about it.
I hope you can find it in your country ;)
