I'd try to separate them with an exacto knife and if that fails just replace the chip. New SH2 chips can be found.

I'm a little concerned about cutting too deep.

But I suppose this makes sense.

I don't know that this is the only issue with the board, but it's definitely AN issue.

Yeah if you want to fix it for sure just swap the SH2.
 
Very nice!

After looking at it in the new pictures it was just the solder that was smashed so you could clean it up perfectly with a bit of flux and a hot soldering iron if you wanted.
 
@Mitsurugi-w I guess I misjudged the length of the pins! Maybe I'll clean it up with the soldering iron tomorrow. For now: Gunbird!
 
Well there is "if it ain't broke don't fix it until it actually is broke"
 
I did a Cybattler repair with similar damage to a surface mount custom. It happens from other boards smashing into the pins due to bad storage/transport :(

A quick reflow of the pins with some good flux fixed that board perfectly for what it's worth :D
