I think I erased my CPS3 cart

I was trying to erase a SIMM to reload it and now I just get a black screen when trying to boot the board. I got a backup cart and the board still loads but that cart won't work on either of my CPS3 mobos. Any ideas?...

Was the cart still working with original keys and had a battery? If that's the case, then probably during change of simms or something like that, the keys got erased.

Its a super BIOs cart, one of the first ones.

I had tried to insta several other games but they just kept freezing during install. Third strike would always work however. Is it possible to erase the data on the cart from the DS menu?

I would try cleaning the slot and cartridge pins with some isopropyl alcohol.
