Can anyone tell me exactly how to test the 4th button thing on Vampire Savior or related games? I am only into Street Fighter and so not familiar with it.
 
Whats the problem with Vampire Savior? it is like SF its a standard 6 button game. u will need a kick harsness for CPS2
 
I don't know, folks asked in the posts earlier on this thread to check. Everything seems fine from whatever I have tried - Dangun Feveron, SF2 CE Rainbow with Kick and DS Multi SSF2T with kick. All good.

VS and a couple of other games have issues if both pin 4/5 on the JAMMA edge and the kick harness are connected and need to have a way of disabling pin 4/5 on the JAMMA edge.
 
Vampire Savior has a problem when performing luminous illusion with Lilith, and Darkness Illusion with Morrigan. If button 4 is connected via the JAMMA edge and the kick, you will not be able to perform the move despite inputting the correct button combo.
The way to test would be to pick lilith, get your special meter up to at least 1, then do: LP LP FORWARD LK HP quickly.
Doing it correctly will result in a special move. Doing it incorrectly, or with the JAMMA button 4 connected, you will stand there like an idiot doing normal moves.

do you know if this affects cps1 games as well??
 
O I C, suverman this should be fixed on v2 unit you are using. :D

v2 solved the input problems regarding a diode on the PCB.

All orders will be shipped v2 of the JVS/JAMMA CBOX, this has been updated with better support for Jamma boards and adjustable 5v and 3v on the outside of the box! Also kick harness can be turned off via switch

Question: For JVS, will it have analog options like the Sega 837-13551? I was going to play some initial d and crazy taxi through my naomi multiboot

99% chance of me losing my mind when I eventually get a chance to buy and go ham on TGM3 and my taito type x2

Is video with sync properly buffered? And aslo, is there a way to adjust the brightness? Thanks
 
There are two ways to synchronize signals. One is straight through, and the other is buffered and can adjust the screen offset.

Brightness has two switches, 75 and 150 OHM, which means it can have four brightness levels, 0, 75, 150, 75+150.

How about a USB option and swap out the sigma? Those undammed DB15 to USB are so hard to get a hold of, be awesome to have them built in, just a thought! Excited for mine!

Yes, I would guess that 95% of your customers here in the US and Europe would only use the NG or USB, no one has Sigma sticks, and if they do, they probably have the Sigman SG!

Yes 110-220, no worries there and I just messaged you.

If you buy the Undamned USB decoders from the forum here they work with the DB-15 inputs!
