Hi all and happy new year!

I got a NVS 4000 PSU for use in my Astro cab since it got stereo amp and is generally regarded as a kick ass PSU.

Everything works, sound, powers everything on etc etc, but the 5v drops over time.
Running for example my CPS2 multi works fine and 5v reads 5,03V when I boot it up( I use a JNX Atlas with voltmeter)
After about 1 hour, it has dropped down to about 4,94V- 4,95V. Everything works, but I think I need to do a recap.

Will a recap do the trick or do I need to look at something else?

Everything looks pretty clean.

In my experience, voltages can fluctuate slightly on cabs due to what’s happening in game.

That drop you’re seeing is negligible IMO, however recapping any old arcade cab PSU is a good course of action.

I’ve had all my Astro City PSU’s recapped and they run a treat now.

I think I'll need to do a recap soon for my NVS-4000 too as I've experienced the same voltage drops.

Anyone would have a link to the cap list for the PSU part please ? (I already did the stereo amps)

Arcade parts and repair is making a cap-kit for me. Sent them the complete pcb location ID for my version, So it should be possible to buy a kit from them soon.

Here is the location ID etc for my power and sound PCB No diameters thought....
