Mortal kombat 4 no sound and test menu frezee

Hi my mk4 freezes when i go to test menu and dosent have sound. When it starts with the normal test all green even the classic pong sound saying sounds good, but when game starts no sound at all.

Update sound works but still when i go to test menu it freezes and no movement at all for the options of the test menu

Test menu fixed, popped in a new battery and everything is working .

Mine only has a test menu freeze, did your fix with the battery actually fixed it? I’m giving it a try tonight

Sadly, no luck, the menu still freezes. Must be some other problem, hopefully some one can help.
