Shinobi 16B pcb not saving high scores on power off

Hello,
I searched around and didn't see the answer posted, so I hope I am not double posting. I do not see a battery anywhere that could be bad. Game plays 100% but will not retain high scores like my arcade did back in the day. I do not see a dip setting either. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
There's no battery but a supercap instead.

It may be faulty.
Some replace it with one of higher capacity (1F) for longer holding time.
