What's new
The versions can be confusing, the red I got first was meant to be a version 2, it had the right speaker grills and bana passport etc, but when I stripped it to give it a good clean it had the 720 sanwa monitor and the four power supplies, luckily as I liked the machine he just changed my monitor for a version 2 1080, my blue I think is a version 2 but could be a 3 don’t really know how to tell but it’s dated 2016 in coin door.

I’d like to get a gold but really want a blanc if I ever find one for sale.
Would love to see a picture of the Blue Horris.

I’ve just finished a full clean on the blue, just got to put the new 2 player panel in and locks and Then just some artwork to get and it’s done, for now lol.

I’m just happy to be able to play my games on these Great machines and I probably like my version 1 red more than my blue, but this is the coin door sticker of my blue.

The new cab looks great Horris, I have some art in mine and got the lights under the CP working.

Cheers hopper, I’m still looking for the artwork, I’ve been offered the gundam topper art for £60 but would still need to find the move strip, even John was surprised that every led was working on this one lol.

Thought I'd ask here as this seems to be the most active "Noir" thread that I can find on the net :)

Has anybody put a Sega Naomi on their Noir? (I've got the Tekken 6 one)

The I/O I have on mine is the NA-JV2. When I load up MvC2 for example, I get the error

Code:
         ERROR.

JAMMA I/O BOARD(S) DON'T HAVE
ENOUGH SWITCHES OR FUNCTIONS
Has anybody ever come across this?

I imagine the 4 dip switches on the I/O would be the answer, but I can't seem to find any form of documentation on what those dip switches do.

Any info would be awesome!

TIA

i have a red noir with a fast i/o and also a na-jv2, and i have no issues running a naomi , i looked at the i/o dips and all are set to off

my issue is my banna pass wont work on my tekken 7 and its all wired up , it doesnt light up , nessica reader works fine tho

Strange. I've got the red noir (version 1) and I continue to get that error.

I’ve never tried it as I’ve got a Naomi cab as well and presumed picture wouldn’t look as good as the crt, might give it a go over the weekend.

Yeah I've got a naomi crt cab too.. I just wanted to test and confirm it works..

not sure on my version cab its a ruby red tho , but like i said no issues at all running any naomi inc MvC , when you say load up are you not using a cart ? i used the actual cart, however i have a Naomi 2 with a CF in it too and have no issues though not tried MvC2 with CF in there

Net dimm setup. The exact same naomi setup works fine on my Sega Universal cab

Well it cost 50 quid but it was worth it to get the original boards fixed and working

I couldn’t actually tell you but I can find out next week if you want to know, my brother took it to a guy he knows that does all electrical stuff, it took him a few weeks as he had to order in the correct led’s as he said there not standard ones, I know it cost £28 for the replacements and a couple of resistors but he only charged £20 to Fit them so I think it was a bargain to get the original board back working 100%.
