to me that sounds like way more than just probing for the pin out.
lets make this easy.
Create a text document and type up the name of every connector with a number list below each one
so:
identify every ground pin and ever 5V pin and add it to your document.

Then take your multi meter and using a pinout from ANY CHIP on the PCB (I think someone posted a link to one earlier)Some Connector name
